On Tuesday the 6th October, Barry Kirke correctly guessed that the Mystery Noise is Painting Shellac on to a music book!

    The Mystery Noise will return soon.

    ​Fill out the simple form below. You are only allowed to give ONE answer every week.
    Remember, your answer must be a specific description of what is making the sound.
    You are allowed just one guess per week. Duplicate entries will be deleted. 
    All entries are deleted at the end of every live show and you will need to re-register for the next round.

Terms and Conditions

​The answer must be extremely specific and describe the sound exactly. 

Entrants must be over the age of 18.

Listeners must use the contact form above to register their details for the next Contesting Round.

We play rounds during the live show at 2130 and 2200hrs. Entries close 5 minutes before the next round. Any entries received after this time will be automatically entered into the following Contesting Round.

We may use your phone number as a point of contact should you be drawn to be part of the competition. 

The Qualifier will be randomly drawn from those people who successfully registered their details.

One entry per player per contest round. Duplicates will be deleted.

You must be available to appear on-air by phone once the draw has taken place. If the first drawn participant is not immediately available the random draw will be rerun until a Participant is available.

The prize on offer in the next contesting sequence will be announced at the conclusion of the previous contest. The winning amount will be transfered via Paypal, or bacs payment transfer.

We reserve the right to change the day of the competition without prior notice.

Mechanical Music Radio may, on occasion, feature themed days or increase/decrease the number of plays of the competition.

Mechanical Music Radio may at our discretion provide additional clues via but not limited to on air, social media and digital mediums.
