Beautiful hand turned trumpet organ built in the Germany. Playing on bellows with an 'easy to wind' round wheel - spare handle included.

Over two hours of well arranged traditional paper roll music included from marches, waltzes and foxtrots. Veneered wood casework is in "as new" condition with no scratches or marks. Four nearly new pneumatic tyres on its original attractive cart, with two draws for storage of rolls and other accessories.

A very full sounding organ with excellent bass. Sound travels far and wide at outside events. Melody has a piccolo with violin on hand register, counter melody has stopped flute with trumpet on hand register. A lot of sound from a compact instrument. Has had many improvements done to its action and pipework since I purchased it.

20-Note John Smith Senior handturned organ "De Cherub".

Complete with 40 spools of music being mostly cut by Melvyn Wright on plastic paper containing over 100 tunes.

De Cherub's main body was made by the famous organ builder, John Smith to a very high standard. The front was designed, made and hand painted by Terry Darby. 

The bespoke authentic Dutch hand cart was made by Dennis Dean , and has a pull-out draw with room for 18 spools of music.
